MINIFOK – Fiber Optic Cable Blowing Machine

The MINIFOK Fiber Optic Cable Blowing Machine is designed for high-performance installation of micro-cables and micro-ducts into pre-installed telecommunication ducts. Its compact structure, enhanced flexibility and simple operational system make it one of the most practical solutions for modern fiber deployment projects.

MINIFOK is engineered to operate efficiently across a wide range of cable and duct sizes, allowing contractors to take advantage of a single machine in multiple installation scenarios.

Performance and Engineering

MINIFOK offers maximum efficiency for telecommunications contractors who require a compact yet powerful solution. It supports cables from 4 mm to 16 mm and ducts from 7 mm to 32 mm using three palette options (4–8 mm, 9–12 mm and 13–16 mm). Powered by one air motor, MINIFOK delivers exceptional blowing capacity for micro-cable installations and is ideal for projects where standard fiber optic cable diameter is 6 mm and duct diameter is 16 mm.

The specialized belt system supplies strong grip without damaging the cable, and the adjustable clamping mechanism eliminates diameter tolerance problems. Even in muddy or harsh field conditions, MINIFOK maintains consistent power, ensuring uninterrupted installation.

The operator can adjust speed and direction with the control valve. The specially engineered exit box provides smooth airflow inside the duct, maximizing installation distance. The quick air-connection system significantly minimizes setup time. The unit is fully manufactured in Turkey and built according to international standards.

Safety Information

MINIFOK is a pneumatic system that uses high-pressure air to propel fiber optic cable inside ducts. To prevent personal injury and property damage, the machine must only be operated by trained and authorized personnel.

Safety requirements include the following:

  1. Compressed air may cause debris to eject; operators must use personal protective equipment.

  2. Personnel must not remain inside the manhole located at the cable exit point.

  3. Never open the air chamber while under pressure.

  4. Only certified personnel may operate the air compressor.

  5. Read and understand the supplied operation and maintenance manual before use and keep it available at all times.

  6. Children or untrained individuals must not enter the working area.

  7. All covers, guards and safety mechanisms must remain attached during operation.

  8. Keep hands, feet and loose clothing away from moving machine components.

  9. Inspect the machine for wear or damage before use; ensure all fasteners are tightened.

  10. Prevent unauthorized operation if the machine is left unattended.

  11. Never leave the machine operating without supervision.

  12. Use safety barriers when working in public spaces.

  13. Machine and compressor surfaces may become hot due to compressed air.

  14. Operators must wear eye protection, safety shoes, leather gloves and a hard hat during use; machine operates at 12 bar (175 psi).

  15. Some components exceed 35 kg (77 lbs); proper lifting procedure and manpower are required.

  16. Ensure the sub-duct route is properly connected before beginning installation.
