KOSMAK MACHINES is the exclusive and authorized manufacturer of FOK (Fiber Optic Cable Blowing Machine) in Turkey. Since 1999, we have continuously improved our FOK systems based on feedback from field users, ensuring maximum efficiency, durability and performance in every project.

Today, all subcontractors of Türk Telekom, Turkcell and Vodafone use FOK machines produced by KOSMAK MACHINES for fiber optic cable installation across Turkey.

In addition to the domestic market, our FOK systems are exported to many countries including The Netherlands, Syria, Iraq, Romania, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan and Algeria. In the recent TELLCOM project in Turkey, approximately 3,000 km of fiber optic cable was successfully installed using our FOK machines.

FOK Cable Blowing Machine – Power, Safety and High Performance

The FOK Cable Blowing Machine offers a compact structure and full flexibility for professional users. It is engineered to install both fiber optic cables and microducts into existing underground ducts with maximum precision and safety.

Technical capability ranges:

• Cable diameter: 9 mm to 22 mm

• Duct outer diameter: 20 mm to 50 mm

• Cable blowing speed: up to 80 m/min

The pallet drive system guarantees excellent grip without damaging the cable, while the adjustable clamping mechanism compensates for cable diameter tolerances. Dual air motors ensure high blowing power even in muddy and difficult terrains. The operator can easily control the direction and speed of cable installation through the integrated valve system.

Working Conditions and Recommendations

To ensure correct and safe operation of the fiber optic cable blowing machine, the following checks should be performed in the field before installation:

1. Duct Check
   A 25 mm diameter and 1.5 m long closed natural gas pipe should be inserted into the duct to confirm it is clear and continuous.

2. Machine Check
   After confirming duct suitability, mount the FOK machine and allow pressurized air to flow. When air reaches the exit of the duct, the following pressure values should appear:
   Air motor pressure: 6 bar
   Piston pressure: 2–4 bar
   Duct pressure: 10.5 bar

3. Working Control
   During installation, the values should be:
   Air motor pressure: 6 bar
   Piston pressure: 2–4 bar
   Duct pressure: 10–11 bar

Maintenance recommendations:

• The lubrication unit must provide 2–3 oil drops per minute to the air motors

• Shock lubrication should be applied every 150 meters

• After installation is completed, the air motors should be left slightly oiled by increasing the oil feed and running the machine for 3–4 minutes before storage
